WWE Elimination Chamber Results – February 12 2017

Hello and welcome to the final stop before WrestleMania! Tonight marks the return of Elimination Chamber and it is a SmackDown-exclusive show that is set to mould the landscape one last time ahead of the Showcase of Immortals!

The sixteen-time WWE Champion, John Cena, heads into the daunting Elimination Chamber match tonight against 5 other men. Bray Wyatt, Baron Corbin, Dean Ambrose, The Miz, and AJ Styles, all want to walk out as the new WWE Champion and head into WrestleMania as the leader of SmackDown. Chamber matches are always fun to watch but this one should be a showcase for more than one of these men as they as they all look to prove themselves one last time before Vince sets the ‘Mania card in stone.

As well as the Chamber match, tonight’s card also features three women’s matches: Nikki Bella Vs. Natalya, Mickie James Vs. Becky Lynch, an Naomi Vs. Alexa Bliss for the Women’s Championship. Those are three big matches and shows how far the females have come in terms of placement on a show. All those ladies have earned their spots.

The Tag Team Championships will be put on the line in a Tag Team Turmoil match tonight. American Alpha defend their titles against five other teams. It’s no secret that the SmackDown tag team division is a little lacking in legit contenders. The Uso’s had a fairly interesting heel turn but, sadly for them, it came at a time when they weren’t a focus, and therefore they’ve lost too many simple matches to be taken seriously. The same can be said for every other team in the match and thus it seems there is only one potential winning team. Seems like it’s time to call-up The Revival from NXT.

Randy Orton takes on Luke Harper, who has been estranged from the Wyatt Family and looks for revenge. Orton is biding his time until WrestleMania, where, as of now, he will face John Cena for the title. It’s fairly evident that Orton will turn on Bray soon and has successfully tore apart the family from the inside, thus making Bray look like a complete fool. Anyway, hopefully the feud can somehow improve Bray’s standing, once Orton slithers past Harper tonight. And then there’s Dolph Ziggler, who finds himself in a handicap match against Kalisto and Apollo Crews. I have no idea who wins this one, seeing as all three men have been trading wins and losses like a box of assorted chocolates.

The Elimination Chamber Kick-Off Show is set to start at 7 PM EST and features a match between Mojo Rawley and Curt Hawkisn, for some reason. Who do you think is going to win the Chamber match? Let us know in the comments, download the Ringside News app, follow me on Twitter, and enjoy the show!
