Ric Flair committed to appear at Revolution Pro wrestling events on March 14th and March 15th back in November of last year.
Since that time, Flair signed a new WWE contract, which allows the company to override any outside project that Flair has and will commit to. Promoters last night confirmed that Flair will not be attending those dates anymore, citing “personal reason.”
The promotion announced that Sting will replace Flair at both events. The first event, which is sold out, will feature a Q&A with Sting. The following night, Sting will appear at High Stakes 2014, which will be headlined by Colt Cabana defending the Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship against ‘Party’ Marty Scurll.
